Janet Boydell is the founder and CEO of A Hire Connection, Inc., a retained executive search firm serving Southern California. For 17 years Janet has assisted CEOs in their quest to identify and hire the top talent needed to achieve business goals. Utilizing her proprietary processes, including the Fast-Forward Resume™, and her intuitive knowledge about people, skillful interviewing techniques, and business acumen she works with small to mid-sized companies seeking to hire exceptional people.
Janet’s practice includes recruiting for manager to C-level functions in sales, operations, finance, accounting, marketing, and human resources for industries such as manufacturing, distribution, medical, aerospace, transportation, advertising, food and technology.
Janet has two books in publication. She is co-author of You’re NOT The Person I Hired!: A CEO's Survival Guide To Hiring Top Talent (Oct. 2005); and is author of A Hire Connection: How to Make Your Next Hire Your Best Hire (Oct. 2007).
Janet presents for Vistage International, SHRM, PSNI, Qualcomm and conducts in-house workshops for her clients. Prior to founding A Hire Connection, Janet was a partner at Impact Hiring Solutions and a vice president with CJA Executive Search. She possesses a strong finance and accounting background and was previously employed in the investment banking industry. Janet earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in law and finance from California State Polytechnic University at Pomona.
