Biography         

Janet Boydell is the founder and CEO of A Hire Connection, Inc., a recruiting and training organization dedicated to helping companies and candidates make a connection that transcends typical hiring practices. Janet has written two books -she has recently completed, A Hire Connection: How to Make Your Next Hire Your Best Hire (October 2007) and she has co-authored the highly acclaimed book You’re NOT The Person I Hired!: A CEO's Survival Guide To Hiring Top Talent (Oct. 2005).

Janet conducts retained searches for manager to executive level positions for small to mid-sized companies seeking to hire exceptional people.  Functional areas include sales, finance, accounting, operations and human resources for industries in manufacturing, fabrication, distribution, advertising, medical, transportation, food and technology.

Janet regularly speaks on topics related to hiring practices as well as presenting her proprietary Hire Right Workshop. Participants learn the most effective hiring and interviewing techniques to increase confidence and improve hiring accuracy. Janet is also an authorized speaker for Vistage International, the world's largest CEO organization.

Janet was previously a partner at Impact Hiring Solutions and a vice president with CJA Executive Search.   Prior to retained search, Janet held assistant controller and controller positions while employed in the investment banking industry.  Janet earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State Polytechnic University at Pomona.
